PE Pipes and Outfall Manifold Systems

 

 

FPP are experienced in producing and supply of manifold systems.

PE100 pipes are supplied in diameters up to 2500mm and delivered in lengths to site.

Manifold sections and flanges are supplied with hot dip galvanised, marine grade stainless steel or corrosion resitant alloys.

Duckbill valves are sized and supplied to order. 

 

      

A comprehensive package of compatible stub flanges, manifold systems,duckbill check valves, bolts & joints are coordinated assembled and delivered to site.

 

FPP Scotland can organise specialist welding equipment and highly trained welders to facilitate assembly of butt welded and electrofusion components on site for large diameter PE systems.

Butt Fusion Training

This butt fusion training course will provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to join polyethylene pipe safely using Butt Fusion techniques.

It is suitable for Services and Mains layers requiring Butt Fusion jointing skills, using manual, semi and fully automatic machines.

On completion of the course, delegates should be able to:

  • State the essential elements required to make successful joints using Butt Fusion methods

  • Demonstrate the ability to join PE pipes together in line with industry standards

  • Correctly set up Butt Fusion equipment ready for operation

  • Correctly introduce PE pipe into machines to eliminate joint fault

  • Demonstrate the ability to use various machines and tooling provided

  • Apply a level of quality assurance to completed joints, to ensure suitability to carry water

  • Carry out the Butt Fusion process in accordance with Health and Safety requirements

Successful candidates will be awarded a Certificate of Competence.

Electro Fusion Training

This course will provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to join polyethylene pipe safely using Electro Fusion techniques.

It is suitable for Services and Mains layers requiring Electro Fusion jointing skills, using manual, semi and fully automatic machines.

On completion of the course, delegates should be able to:

  • State the essential elements required to make successful joints using Electro Fusion methods

  • Demonstrate the ability to join PE pipes together in line with industry standards

  • Correctly joint PE pipe to eliminate joint fault

FPP recommend the use of hot dipped galvanised bolting and stock a complete range of bolts for flanges 50mm - 1000mm.

Joint Gaskets

Standard EPDM and nitrile gaskets are stocked and we also supply higher integrity gaskets for applications where joint security is paramount to the system.
